Graduates of the Faculty of Mathematics are individuals who have very high logical, analytical, and abstract thinking skills, because during their studies they are trained to solve complex problems with a systematic and data-based approach; in addition to mastering basic theories such as algebra, calculus, real analysis, statistics, and probability, they are also equipped with skills in mathematical programming and computational software such as Python, R, MATLAB, and Excel, which make them adaptive in various professional sectors, from research and education, to industrial fields such as finance, actuarial, data science, logistics, and information technology, where the ability to process data, create predictive models, and develop strategies based on numbers is very much needed.
